How to leave a comment

  1. Click on the Comments (0) link at the bottom of the post (or article). The number in brackets (x) indicates how many comments have already been written.

  2. This takes you to a new page that has 3 boxes for your Name, Email and URI (that's your website address, if you have one).

  3. Just type your name in the Name box and your email address in the next box (ignore the URI box if you prefer) and then write a comment in the larger box below. Note: your email address will never be displayed there, it will be visible only to me, Martin, as author and administrator of the website.
    Here's an example:

  4. When you're happy with that just click on the Say it! box at the bottom.
  5. This takes you to a final confirmation page, the "Comment spam blocker" page where you'll see this message:
    6. In order to protect our users, and our servers, from comment spam we have developed some counter-measures. To submit your comment, please retype the number shown below into the box provided and press the "Submit Number" button. We apologise for the inconvenience.
  6. Just type the number (for example, ) in the box and click on the Submit button - this will prove that you're a human being rather than a "bot" and will add the comment to the blog post and it will appear instantly.
